Want to know more about what Soularium actually is? Check this out

What is SoulariumSoularium is a packet of 50 photographs taken all over the world. Not just your average photographs, but intriguing photographs that invoke your imagination.

There are five questions that go along with the photographs:
  1. What 3 images would you choose to describe your life right now?
  2. What 3 images represent what you wish was a part of your life right now?
  3. What image would you choose to describe God?
  4. Think about your life so far. Which image best describes what you’ve experienced spiritually?
  5. When you think about your own spiritual walk or journey, which image best represents what you wish were true?
Soularium is a way to get into spiritual conversations. People see all sorts of different things in the images they choose, and you'd be amazed at the stories and personal thoughts that can come out from asking these questions. Doing Soularium with someone you know often results in learning new things and getting on a deeper level with them. Doing Soularium with someone you don't know often results in learning interesting facts and connection points immediately, gives you an opportunity to find out where they are spiritually and give you an opportunity to share as well.

At Dickinson, we are using the Soularium photographs on a board as shown in the picture with a sign that says, "What do you see? What do you think". Our plan is to set it up in a busy spot on campus and ask these questions to students who are walking by and stop to check it out.

This is a new outreach effort- a way to reach out to students on campus, engage them in spiritual conversations, make connections with that lead to friendship and sharing Jesus with them. Please pray for us as we launch our Soularium effort.
